Pet Friendly Shelters

St. Johns County Emergency Management is pleased to announce that two (2) Pet Friendly Shelters are now available to meet the needs of our pet owners during the hurricane season. The following two schools that have been designated as Pet Friendly Shelters are:

• South Woods Elementary School
  4750 SR-206 West
• Timberlin Creek Elementary School
  555 Pine Tree Lane

Pet Requirements

All animals brought to a pet shelter are required to have the following:

• Pet Carriers
• Proper ID Collar and Rabies Tag
• Leash
• Food Supplies | at least three days
• Water and Food Bowls
• Pet Medications | if necessary
